Joseph Springsteen

Joseph Springsteen is a Trial Attorney with the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section ("CCIPS") of the United States Department of Justice. CCIPS is responsible for implementing the Department's national strategies in combating computer and intellectual property crimes worldwide; the Section prevents, investigates, and prosecutes computer crimes by working with other government agencies, the private sector, academic institutions, and foreign counterparts. Before joining CCIPS, Mr. Springsteen was an attorney in private practice with the international law firm DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary.
Prior to studying law, he worked in the IT industry as a computer technician and UNIX system administrator.
